A list of blanks
is free
Knowing which rows your quotation leaves empty costs nothing, and it should not, because a list of blanks on its own is unsettling and hard to act on.
What you pay for is the column that says which of those items happen whether anyone writes them down or not, and the wording to raise them without accusing anybody of anything. That is what turns a list into a conversation.

Everything about the billing, stated plainly
- Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and include VAT at 20%.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing page, in a couple of clicks and without contacting us.
- There is no free trial, no introductory rate and no discount that expires. The price you see is the price that recurs.
- Credits are an allowance for using the service. They are not money, not stored value, not redeemable for cash and not transferable.
- Unused credits do not carry over into the next period, and there is no way to buy more within a period. If you need more, move up a plan.
- Card details are never handled by this site. Payment is processed by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider.
The detail sits in the terms of use and the cancellation and refunds page, including your statutory 14-day right to cancel and the statutory cancellation form.
Why the paywall sits exactly there
If you only know that six rows are empty, you have been made anxious and given nothing to do about it. That is not worth charging for and we do not charge for it.
The sentence that changes the situation is the one that says which of those six happen on every job of this type whether or not anybody wrote them down — because that turns an uneasy feeling into a short agenda for a phone call. The question card is the only part that actually gets a homeowner talking, and the side-by-side reading is the real situation: three quotations for one job, read across rather than one at a time.
Those three things are what the paid plans are.
What no plan includes
- Any opinion on whether a price is reasonable.
- Any comparison of one firm against another.
- Any recommendation of a contractor.
- Any monetary amount at all — figures are covered over before the image is sent.
- Cost consultancy, quantity surveying or contract review.
These are not features held back for a higher tier. They are not things this service does.
